With everything going on the last few days it really gets you to thinking. Especially how interconnected people around the globe are. It’s so easy to get caught up in thinking about yourself and only what’s going on right in front of you. Events like this can be scary and overwhelming but it can also be a good opportunity to step back from your day to day concerns and open your eyes to everything else going on. To focus on your fellow humans. The last few days have made me feel really small- not in a bad way. It just helped me remember that I’m not alone. That I’m one of billions of people who are connected. And even though we don’t really think about it often but our world really is smaller than we realize. Sending prayers and good vibes to those who are heading out to work and to those at home. Both are going to come with challenges. Let’s talk MICRO GOALS! I keep seeing articles and segments about resolutions and here’s the deal... I stopped making them along time ago. But this year I’ve felt something changing in me and wanted a way to keep myself on track with certain goals without derailing because of grandeur commitments (commitment issues, ya feel?) ⁣ So, I got a magnetic dry erase board from Amazon, threw it on my fridge and each week I’m writing a few goals I can check off. ⁣Make dinner three times this week 🍲Go to the gym three times 💪🏼Meal prep your lunches 👩🏻‍🍳Even things like phone free day can make such a big impact. These small lists make it easier to achieve your BIG goals by sticking to the micro each week. And that’s on 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣0️⃣
