The Best Work From Home Plus Size Loungewear

We all know the phrase, “look good, feel good” and that is not exclusive to outside the house.

While working from home provides comfort, ease and most recently, safety. Safety from certain diseases that may or may not have forced you to work from home the next two weeks *cough cough* coronavirus

Working from home does not mean an excuse to slack off and not change your clothes (yuck)! Rather, let’s turn this into an excuse to shop for your newest “workdrobe” in the form of some beautiful plus size loungewear! And let’s be honest, we’re already all shopping during the day, but now there is no need to worry about switching your screen quickly as your boss looks over (Sorry, Insyze team, guilty!)

First things first, wake up around the same time, maybe 30 minutes later, and do most of your normal morning routine.  Yes, you do have to take a shower even if you’re not going to interact with your colleagues or your daily barista.

The extra time in the morning will be refreshing to have for yourself.  You can have a second to breathe before jumping into your day, make a coffee at a leisurely rate and not have to stuff your bag with your daily essentials. Also, don’t forget to make your bed because it’s good for you mentally and you definitely should not be laying in it all day!

Now, to the clothing part.

While yes, it may be easy to stay in your PJs, have you really ever been that productive in them? Changing your clothes and getting into a work outfit for the day may just be what gets you in the work mindset.

But that doesn’t mean you have to squeeze into an uncomfortable pant suit and heels, in fact we’ve rounded up some of our favorite plus size loungewear looks that are comfortable, yet won’t make you look like a slob on your Google Hangouts chat with your boss.

We at Insyze are masters of the work from home plus size loungewear outfits, so here are some of our favorite looks:

Don’t we all love a sweater with leggings? This star print pullover from Torrid is on trend and easy to throw on in the morning.  You can dress it up with jeans and your hair done or down with leggings and a cute messy bun.

We also die for an outfit we can wear a sports bra in, winning!

No need to sacrifice style or comfort in these adorable flare plus pants from NastyGal. These pants are high-waisted (always a plus) with an elastic waistband.

You’ll also be able to snap some cute work from home instas.   Just think, these printed pants, your cutest mug and laptop on your coffee table with your planner strategically placed.

Pair this with either a plain sweater or a tight long sleeve to emphasize the pants.

Plus Size Leopard Leggings

We love a printed legging.  You get all the comfort of a soft, stretchy fabric to cover our bellies, but with the style of an on-trend print.

These FashionNova Curve leggings are perfect to match with a tee shirt, hoodie, pullover sweater or a neutral long sleeve to complete the look.

Whether you’re in the house all day or you’re out and about, these pants have got you covered - literally

We could easily go on and on because loungewear is my current favorite style to shop for. This also is really an excuse to shop online during work hours (again, sorry Insyze team, but it technically is my job!)

Let us know if you have any favorite working from home outfits that we’re missing out on.
